Mr. Nuwan Sardarathne

Mr. Nuwan Sardarathne joined CBC Finance PLC in 2008 and currently serves as Chief Manager Finance. With over 17+ years of financial management and auditing experience in the Non-Bank Financial Service sector in Sri Lanka, Nuwan brings a wealth of expertise to his role. His educational credential includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from London Metropolitan University, a Higher National Diploma in Accounting (HNDA equals to B.com Degree at University of Kelaniya) from Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education, a Certified Business Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CBA – CASL), and Passed Finalist of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT).Lakmal is currently pursuing an MBA (General) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He has also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management, an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management, and a Diploma in Marketing Management, all from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.Chamara holds a Master of Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK. In addition, he has complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (UK) from the London School of Commerce, also in the UK. Furthermore, Chamara has complete a Certificate in Banking and Finance from the Institute of Bankers.

Mr. Chathuranga Suraweera

Mr.Chathuranga Suraweera joined CBC Finance PLC in 2021 and currently serves as Chief Manager Information Technology. With over 16+ years of IT experience in the Non-Bank Financial Service sector in Sri Lanka, Chathuranga brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Prior to his appointment, he held positions at Central Finance Company PLC and Softlogic Finance Ltd, where he worked across various domains including IT Administration, Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, Database Administration, Networking, and Software Releasing & Implementation.

Chathuranga’s educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kelaniya University Sri Lanka, a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology from Middlesex University UK, a Higher Diploma in Computer-Based Information Systems from the National Institute of Business Management Sri Lanka, a Diploma in Computer System Design from the National Institute of Business Management Sri Lanka, a Diploma in Computer Programming from Technical Engineering College Sri Lanka, and a Diploma in English from Edexcel International. Additionally, he holds various internationally recognized certifications related to the IT and management fields.

He is a Professional Member of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (MCSSL), a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute for IT UK (MBCS), a Professional Member of the Institute Of Management Sri Lanka (MIMSL), and a Member of the International Computer Science Teachers Association (MCSTA)

Mr. Chamara Wickramatathne

Mr. Chamara Wickramaratne, Chief Manager- Credit Administration brings over 18 years of experience in Banking and credit with 9 years of managerial experience in Sri Lanka. Prior to his appointment in CBC Finance PLC, he was with LOLC Finance PLC for past 9 years, the last Nine of them as Manager – Credit.
Chamara holds a Master of Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK. In addition, he has complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (UK) from the London School of Commerce, also in the UK. Furthermore, Chamara has complete a Certificate in Banking and Finance from the Institute of Bankers.

Mr. Lakmal Kalansooriya

Mr. Lakmal Kalansooriya, Chief Manager-Gold Loan brings over 22 years of experience in the financial industry in Sri Lanka. Prior to joining us, he spent the last six years as a Senior Manager at Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC, where he held previous appointments as well.
Lakmal is currently pursuing an MBA (General) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He has also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management, an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management, and a Diploma in Marketing Management, all from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Mrs. Yashikala Nawagamuwa

Mrs. Yashikala E.P. Nawagamuwa joined the Company in 2020 April was appointed as the Head of Legal in August 2020.Holds a LL B(Honors)degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo in 1995.
Enrolled as an Attorney-at-law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths with a demonstrated history of post qualified working experience with extensive skills in legal management and financial services and adopt at providing strategic legal guidance, managing complex legal operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Served at the Academic Staff of the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo before joining the Financial Sector.
Counts over 30 years’ service in the Finance leasing, hire purchase and Notarial Practice, is a senior legal professional responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the company operations, including risk management, compliance, and litigation having a typically extensive legal experience, including a lucrative practice in Commercial and Civil Law.
